This could be the gift you’ve been looking for – something more meaningful than the normal fare, something that will pay dividends for many years to come, or something that your loved ones will thank you for time and time again.

Order a gift certificate from the Garrett Planning Network and you’ll be able to:

  • Purchase the gift certificate securely in various denominations (From $25 to $1000)
  • Print out and hand-deliver the gift certificate
  • Know that you’ve made a lasting contribution

Working with an independent financial advisor is a great way to make better money management and financial decisions. Whether your loved one needs professional advice now or in the near future, they can use a gift certificate from the Garrett Planning Network to help them obtain the advice they need.

The network maintains a “Find an Advisor” map you can click here to access. The gift recipient may select any of the advisors registered in their state. All of them offer hourly, as-needed financial planning and advice. There are no commissions or conflicts of interest regarding compensation so you can be sure they’ll be receiving independent, objective advice.

They will contact the advisor of their choice and let him/her know they have a gift certificate to apply toward their consultation. The advisor will visit briefly with them to determine their immediate need for advice and recommend the appropriate level of service. Depending on the advisor and the geographical area, a typical fee for advice is $150-250 per hour. While a good amount of value can be delivered in a short period of time, initial engagements typically range from $500 to $1,500 depending on needs and circumstances.

Examples of limited engagements include:

  • Financial checkups
  • Second opinions on investments
  • Saving plans for big goals – a home, college or retirement
  • Debt reduction plans

This is a pre-paid gift from you. The recipient can use it to obtain professional counsel on the financial matter most important to them.

Gift certificates expire one year from the purchase date.
